As a Thanks to our MANY VOLUNTEERS at the Stonewall Curling Club, we awarded one winner from a random drawing with free tickets for two for the Men's World Curling Championships! Held in Grand Forks, ND. April 5th to 13th.

The draw was made from ALL NAMES SIGNED INTO THE VOLUNTEER BOOK at the bar, as of Monday March 17th 6:50 pm.

TARGET JUNIOR LADIES PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to the Kaitlyn Lawes Team on winning the 2008 Target Junior Women's Provincial Championship played at Stonewall Curling Club! They beat Kaileigh Strath Team 4 - 2 in the finals played early January.

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN to skip Kaitlyn Lawes, third Jenna Loder, second Liz Peters, lead Sarah Wazney (fifth MJ McKenzie) and coach Alex Mowat in their WIN at the CANADIAN Juniors in Sault Ste Marie on February 10th

THANK YOU so much to Hosting Committee Chairperson Dana Stewart, ALL the Hosting Committee Reps, John Good for The Best Ice around, Supporters, and the MANY from the Club that volunteered and shared in the fun!!

THREE STONEWALL TEAMS WIN THEIR ZONES !

Congratulations to Jared Kolomaya, Neil Kitching, Jared Hancox & Dilon Bednarek for winning the Zone to represent the Stonewall Curling Club. They did very well at the Junior Provincials in Winnipeg in January!!

Also congratulations to "Masters" Division team of Lawrie Hogg, Ken Allen, Doug Peterson and Larry Weatherburn! They won their zone in Petersfield on Dec. 7th and are to compete at the Provincials at Teulon in March!

And yet again...Congratulations to Arlene Deprez's team of Myrna Stewart, Lois Fast and Phyllis Klimpke for winning the Senior Zones. Good Luck at the Senior Provincials at Swan River in February!

MIXED BONSPIEL MARCH 28 - 30 !
